  Transporter Example
  How is this done?
A Star Trek movie
created the first
particle system so it's
only fitting that we
have a few Star Trek
examples.  Here is a
transporter inspired
from Star Trek
Nemesis.

Light beams come
down from the top
of the transporter as
motion blurred
particles with a
transparent head
and opaque tail.

The robot begins to
be transported through
the use of a Java 3D
transparency
interpolator.

The robot particles get
transported with a
point particle system
with a Vortex influence
to twist them.
